Theory:

  1. Client selection: Learn how to identify and select clients based on their specific skincare needs and goals, considering factors such as skin type, concerns, and medical history.
  2. Consultations for medi-facials: Develop effective consultation techniques to assess clients’ skin conditions and customize medi-facial treatments accordingly, addressing specific concerns and optimizing results.
  3. Classic facial: Master the foundational techniques and steps involved in performing a classic facial, including cleansing, exfoliation, massage, mask application, and moisturization, providing clients with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
  4. Advanced facial: Explore advanced facial techniques that go beyond the basic steps, incorporating specialized treatments, advanced massage techniques, and targeted product applications to address specific skin concerns and provide enhanced results.
  5. Facial with high frequency: Learn how to incorporate high-frequency technology into facial treatments, utilizing its antibacterial and healing properties to address acne, promote circulation, and improve overall skin health.
  6. Extraction and implements: Gain proficiency in performing safe and effective extractions, using appropriate implements to remove comedones, blackheads, and other impurities from the skin, while minimizing trauma or damage.
  7. Skin analysis: Develop the skills to analyze clients’ skin thoroughly, assessing its condition, identifying specific concerns, and determining suitable treatment approaches and product recommendations.
  8. Client charting and consultations: Learn the importance of maintaining accurate client records, including charting observations, treatment details, and progress notes, to ensure personalized care and track clients’ skincare journeys.
  9. Ingredients and product knowledge: Familiarize yourself with various skincare ingredients and products, understanding their benefits, applications, and potential interactions, allowing you to make informed decisions and recommendations for clients.
  10. Natural and organic skincare: Explore the growing field of natural and organic skincare, understanding the principles, benefits, and specific considerations associated with using these products in professional treatments and client care.
  11. Advanced skincare modalities: Discover advanced skincare modalities, such as microcurrent, LED therapy, and ultrasound, understanding their mechanisms, benefits, and how to incorporate them into customized treatment plans.
  12. Adult acne treatments: Learn specialized techniques and protocols for addressing adult acne, including understanding the underlying causes, selecting appropriate products, and providing effective treatments to improve the condition of acne-prone skin.
  13. Advanced exfoliation techniques: Explore advanced exfoliation methods, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or dermaplaning, mastering their application, safety considerations, and desired outcomes for various skin types and concerns.
